Spiritual Vistas Counseling and Services is first and foremost spiritual in perspective that offers christian counseling to help you from the inside out. Counseling, by its very nature transcends the material and physical. It looks at belief systems which impact how life is perceived, lived, embraced, and where necessary overcome. Christian Counseling addresses the soul condition, empowering greater prosperity and health.

Located in Southeast Columbus (on the edge of Groveport). Our office is in The Gardens of Street Free Ministries with a goal of feeding support back into ministries working to get people off the streets.. We have associations: withMy Sister's Place: Transitional Housing for Women, Break Every Chain, and we will be doing Sozo at The Gardens as well as Sozo training

At Spiritual Vistas we bring strong clinical skills under the authority of Biblical principles by the power of the Holy Spirit in order to facilitate complete healing. To this end we fully commit ourselves to:

1. The use of strong clinical skills in assessment and treatment.

On-going training and supervision is utilized to improve clinical skills and to better serve clients.

2. Fully inviting the Holy Spirit into the counseling process.

We want to see full healing for people. In the New Testament people who encountered a deep and personal interaction with Jesus Christ experienced “sozo” (σῴζω). This word means to be healed, preserved, saved (self), do well, be (made) whole. This is our expectation for all who enter our doors. To this end we utilize a variety of spiritual tools in addition to prayer and the Word.

3. Assisting people in identifying the lies in their lives that have kept them in bondage to their emotions and circumstances.

  We learn lies from our experiences and often we do not even recognize what lies we are operating from because the enemy seeks to put a veil over our faces (2 Corinthians 4:4). Jesus said, “You shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32). It is the lies we believe about ourselves, others and our world that keep us in bondage. Jesus said He is the Truth (John 14:6) and it is written that Jesus came to destroy the works of the enemy (1 John 3:8). It is in seeking Him and allowing Holy Spirit to remove the veil from our eyes that we can be fully set free.

4. Equipping and training people so they can continue in healing process outside of counseling. The only dependency we want to foster is a dependency on God Himself.

If we know how to handle the Word of Truth for ourselves we are able to press forward from victory to victory.
